Estimation of Average Rician K-factor in Reverberation Chamber
By loading the reverberation chamber (RC) Rician fading can be generated. This paper shows K-factor is reduced by platform stirring. The platform stirring is also used to determine an average K-factor in the chamber, valid for an arbitrary fixed position of the antenna inside the chamber.
متن کاملMeasurement of Zigbee Wireless Communi- Cations in Mode-stirred and Mode-tuned Re- Verberation Chamber
It is highly desirable to use advanced sensor networks to continuously monitor the structural health of an aircraft. It would be advantageous if the network was wireless to avoid the need for additional wire bundles and associated interconnects but the reliability of a suitable wireless channel in low loss enclosed structures needs to be understood. This paper reports on work undertaken testing...
متن کاملAngular spectral plane-wave expansion of nonstationary random fields in stochastic mode-stirred reverberation processes.
We derive an integral expression for the plane-wave expansion of the time-varying (nonstationary) random field inside a mode-stirred reverberation chamber. It is shown that this expansion is a so-called oscillatory process, whose kernel can be expressed explicitly in closed form. The effect of nonstationarity is a modulation of the spectral density of the field on a time scale that is a functio...
متن کاملNumerical simulations of reverberation chamber
The focus of this project is to determine whether commercial general purpose raybased electromagnetic analysis tool (XGYD by Remcom, Inc.) can be an effective and accurate method of simulating a reverberation chamber and wireless communication within a confined and reflective environment, like a car. An introduction that includes the mathematical equations which govern the wireless channel is g...
متن کاملMode Stirred Reverberation Chamber (msrc): a Large and Efficient Tool to Lead High Fre- Quency Bioelectromagnetic in V Itro Exper- Imentation
An important aspect of the studies undertaken in bioelectromagnetism relates to the choice of exposure facility. The characteristics of a real electromagnetic environment are far more complex compared to the one plane wave irradiation set-up used in the majority of bioelectromagnetic studies. Moreover, biological requirements should represent the starting point in the design of an in vitro expo...
